How I Mastered The Megaminx

It took me 5 years. But I can now call myself a master at one craft. I am well aware that I can improve, that there are people better than me.

But I now have a way to express myself.

Mastery, to me, is having the expertise and comfort in performing an action, enough to transcend thinking. There, you can create.

You can see this in Michael Phelps’ dolphin kick. He’s a human dolphin.
You can see this in Cristiano Ronaldo. The ball is stuck to his feet while dribbling.

You can see this in countless artists, creators, and sportsmen. Every person that pursues perfecting a “doing” can get mastery.

You achieve this with obsession. Being able to push through repetitive boring is your ticket to the amazing and unique mastery.

Repetitions allow you to integrate the action into you. Every person that strives to master a “doing” will have to pass into “being” that craft.

The megaminx is now a part of me, I can express myself by creating new solutions. I can express myself through practice. And I want the same for you.
